Artwork for 2003 - Anthropormorphics!

I am finally getting around to creating some more anthro artwork! I have been creating the non-anthro for so long now, 6+ months I think, and I know I needed to get back to creating the anthros.

I sketched this for WhiteShepherd in December. He was going to put it on his leather jacket but we discussed it and decided it would be best put on a t-shirt. We didn't want to ruin the leather jacket.

It took me a couple days to get it just the way WhiteShepherd wanted it to look. I admit, it isn't perfect but I did my best.

Finally, I colorized this one but also made some changes to it before I colored it. I really love the ending result. Colored with Prisma pencils.

When I was making the non-anthro version of this pic I kept thinking how cool it would look as an anthro. Well, I finally created the anthro version.

I didn't like how this one turned out so I completely redid the sketch!

This is the redo of the above sketch. I still am thinking of adding something more to the finished piece but haven't really decided as yet. I am very pleased with how this one turned out.

Colored with Prisma pencils.

No sketch available.

I am shy when it comes to asking other artists to draw in my sketchbook. I am also shy about sketching in someone's artbook myself. Well, there was a "Coffee gathering" in Columbus Ohio on Jan. 25, 2003 and I was really surprised that Cashew Lou asked me to sketch something in HIS sketchbook! I didn't know what to draw especially since he is into macro art, which I really haven't done, so WhiteShepherd gave me a suggestion. I drew it. WS also asked me to bring my Prisma pencils, just in case. So, this was the result of WhiteShepherds' inspiration!

This is a sketch of something WhiteShepherd suggested one night for me to think about before going to bed so I wouldn't have nightmares after watching a scary movie with him back in January, 2003. I finally got around to sketching it out.

I titled it "A Day at the Beach". Kada-Ru is doing what she is always doing, taking pictures, while WhiteShepherd is running along the waters edge with his pet white shepherd, Crystal. (I still need to get some pics off the internet so I can draw the background.)

This is a sketch I created for Ayame. She was so dear to create a sketch of WhiteShepherd and myself that I just had to do one of her and her husband and brand new baby. The characters she gave me to draw were from the Chinese Zodiac.

This sketch took me several hours to complete. I did the basic sketch of the bodies and placement then I had to download some pics off the internet to be able to get the faces to look more like the animals they are. Ayame is the rabbit, her husband the tiger and the beautiful little lamb is their 5 week old daughter!

(giggles) My very first griffon, sort-of. I used my imagination since I really didn't have any pics to go by and when I created it the time was already 2 am and I was too tired to look up some references. This morning I showed it to Gene and he suggested a couple of pics to look at. Instead of trying to 'fix' this one, I decided to leave it as is and then I will create a new one later with the 'arms' etc.

I used Oil Pastels, pencil to outline and a black marker only around the eye.

I created this pic for an 8 year old boy we know that likes fantasy, dragons and pegasus. I also took his pic so I will be working on putting HIS face on the pegasus rider.

Because of the small details I decided to use my Prisma pencils to color this piece. Background is chalk and Prisma pencils.

This is a drawing I created for Sefina in her sketch book of 'her' fursona. I really liked how she turned out.

I changed the title of this one to "The Healing Hug".

Colored with Prisma pencils.
