Artwork for 2003 - Non-Anthro!

On this page you will find my non-anthro creations. I am also including the finished pics of sketches I created in 2002. The sketches are posted to show the difference and the dates the original sketches were created. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them!

My oldest grandson likes cheetahs so this one is for him. Yes, I know he has spots but I decided to just add those when I color the pic instead of making spots in the sketch as well. This is for Christmas 2002.

Colored with Oil Pastels on blue construction paper.

I finally finished this piece. It is on black construction paper and I colored it with Oil Pastels.

I needed to create two panda drawings for my daughter-in-law. One for her BD, which was in Dec. and one for her Christmas present, 2002.

I colored this one with Oil Pastels and chalk. I didn't care much for the way it turned out. So, the next one I colored with a different medium.

Today was my granddaughter's 6th birthday! I called her and let her know I was thinking of her and that I sent her a birthday Furry E-Card. I already sketched a pic of another butterfly for her birthday and this one was going to be for this years Christmas. (I decided to sketch them ALL out and that way I have last years Christmas presents, this years birthday presents AND this years Christmas presents all done for this year and we will be sending them out as soon as possible!)

This one is colored with Prisma colored pencils and black marker.

I guess I was on a roll when I sketched all these! This is a pair of Cheetahs for my oldest grandson for his birthday in March, 2003.

The one I originally colored I really hated! So, I waited a few days and then tonight I finally tried coloring another sketch of this. The first colored one was done with Oil Pastels. This one I colored with chalk then Prisma pencils.

Some of these newer pics really scared me when I went to sketch them from my reference photos. All the detail and I was worried that it would not look right. Well, this one had more detail than any of my previous works but I love how it turned out!

I finally colored this one. I LOVE how it turned out. I colored it with chalk and colored pencils.

As I was going through pics I wanted to finish for my families presents, I also decided to create some other pics that I and actually sell!

Another one for my youngest grandson.

I'm not as happy with this one but it did turn out better than it started out. I still need practice with monkeys... with creating these for my youngest grandson, I am sure to get TONS of practice!

Colored with chalk, colored pencils and markers.

When I was downloading pics of these guys I learned that they are rather 'fluffy' haired as younguns' and the hair gets shorter and smoother as they age. Trust me, the colored piece will look so great!

I tried a new technique with this one. It turned out ok. I colored it with Oil pastels and the grass with chalk and markers. The sky was colored with chalk.

I decided to redo a bit of the cubs fur to make it more realistic with some suggestions from WhiteSheperd. I like this pic much better. Now to work on the grass some more!

I reworked the 'mane' with markers.

I had so much fun creating this one! The Squirrel Monkey is actually quite pretty.

This one took me about 4 hours to complete. I used Prisma pencils and some chalk. I had to look at a couple pics of this beautiful animal to be able to create the tail since the main photo I used for my reference didn't show the tail. I am really pleased how this one turned out!

This is a "Yawning Jaguar". I was so suprised at how wide their mouths can actually open!

I finally finished it! I used markers, Prisma pencils and chalk to color this piece.

This is a commission. It is of the person's 2 cats staring out the window in a silhouette setting.

After having to find some time and get my glasses replaced I was finally able to finish this piece! The person was very happy with the end result.

I have continued my non-anthro work that I am creating for Anthrocon 2003 on a separate webpage.
